Tilling with a subsoiler will improve growth in all crops where soil compaction is a problem.<\/p>\n<p>Our Subsoiler shanks manufactured by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buctraco.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Buckeye Tractor<\/a> are rated at <strong>50 PTO-HP per shank<\/strong> and\/or <strong>maximum 20\u201d depth,<\/strong> feature shear-bolt protection and are equipped for category-2 hitch and\/or quick hitch compatible. What matters is rating each shank of your subsoiler for Horsepower and depth. It\u2019s tricky to chart a universal Horsepower requirement at a certain depth. Soil type, moisture content and compaction hardness can vary widely.<\/p>\n<p>Horsepower ratings of the Sub Soiler shanks are typical of the power needed for the depth. Also, you should make sure soil has little moisture for best penetration but dry enough for best fracture; timing matters!<\/p>\n<p>Accurately measure penetration depth, many over-estimate. On bigger multi-shank models, removal of one or two shanks can provide best results.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, local practices, experience and what previous operators have done with your soil are more relevant than a general claim.
