Built by Buckeye Tractor, this machine is perfect for finishing beds and performing false seedings but can also loosen the soil up to 12″ with the chisel shanks.
This is a basic tool for temporary or permanent raised bed systems, featuring a rolling basket and hilling discs in place of a shaper pan. As a conventional cultivator, break up crusty bed tops and control weeds, including light tillage of stale beds. Tilling bed tops and furrows, ripper shanks can fracture furrow compaction and shaping disks restore bed shoulders. Tillage on raised beds already in place has the same moisture control benefits – quicker, more consistent drying on top for timely tillage and better seedbed conditioning.
Tillage can be light or heavy, adjust as needed.
