Can be installed on our cultivator, or on our versatile tool carrier.
The drip applicator installs the drip line on the ground or buried at a depth of 0″ to 5″. Buried drip irrigation enables vegetable cultivation throughout the season while ensuring precise and water-efficient irrigation. No need to move the sprinklers. For the basic version, it’s preferable to have gauge wheels on the toolbar. The version with a parallelogram includes a gauge wheel on the parallelogram for more precise control of the drip depth. It can be effective to bury the drip line all season under the row or just beside it before planting for kale and other large brassicas, onions, garlic, beets, celery, celeriac, etc. The drip tube can also be applied along the row before hilling potatoes and leeks. Water is applied in the right place (near the roots), greatly reducing water consumption. It’s then possible to hoe over the drip lines without damaging them if the laying depth is consistent and sufficient (4″ to 5″) and if hoeing is done within 1″ to 2″ depth near the drip tubes.
