Oekosem – Ploughless Rotor-Strip-Till System for Perfect Seedbeds
The Oekosem efficiently tills 4, 6, or 8 rows simultaneously, with adjustable row spacing of 37.5, 50, 70, or 75 cm. The sub-soiling tines work at a depth of 15–25 cm, while the “rotavator blades” incorporate any applied fertilizer to 7–15 cm, producing a uniform, finely structured seedbed. The “culti packer roller” ensures optimal soil-to-seed contact for excellent germination.
How It Works:
- Strip Tilling: The tilled strip mixes soil with applied fertilizer, creating a finely crumbled seedbed ready for seeding.
- Sub-Soiling Tines: Adjustable depth loosens soil between rotavator knives, stimulating strong root growth and enabling deep root penetration.
- Rotavator Action: Wide wing shares lift the soil slightly to prevent hard-panning and maintain soil structure.
